Beneficiaries of free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms led by Coach Gabriel Abinu Foundation have commended the proprietor of the non-governmental organization for his immense contributions to the empowerment of students in Lokoja and Kogi State in general.

Am. Gabriel Abinu, the proprietor of the foundation, had earlier procured free JAMB form for over 50 students in Kogi State.

The young philanthropist, who is widely known for his humanitarian services to the people, recently sank a borehole for Lokongoma and Angwan Tiv community in Lokoja New Layout, to alleviate the impact of water scarcity in Lokoja metropolis to catch.

In a brief meeting with Amb. Gabriel Abinu, the beneficiaries who were very curious to see the Oman-based philanthropist in Lokoja on Saturday, described him as God sent to the people of Kogi State and Nigeria in general.

While thanking him for this commendable gesture, they prayed that God would continue to elevate him and give him the continued strength to continue his good work for humanity.

In a surprise visit during the meeting, a former member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Mustafa
Allahdey described the young philanthropist as a great hope for the less privileged in the society.

“Ambassador Gabriel Abinu has done it before and he will continue to do it again and again. The people of Kogi State are truly proud of this man who has made great contributions to humanity. He continues to support all sectors of the economy with what little he has.

“We are living witnesses of his contributions in the areas of sports, education, youth empowerment and recently constructed boreholes for various communities in Lokoja metropolis. What can we say other than thank you very much for this commendable gesture. If we take five of Amb. Gabriel Abinu in Lokoja, things will get better for all of us,” he said.

The former lawmaker appealed to the beneficiaries not to disappoint their families, noting that they should be role models to the people of Kogi State.

He warned them not to get involved in any form of social vices such as cultism, stealing, armed robbery, hooliganism, advance fee fraud and many more.

In his address to the beneficiaries, Amb. Gabriel Abinu noted that giving back to society remains his top priority on earth.

The Oman-based philanthropist disclosed that there are plans to introduce more empowerment programs that will touch the lives of the masses at the grassroots.

According to him, he has made connections with a number of national and international scouts who will come to Kogi State to discover raw talents that will represent the nation in various sporting activities.

His words: “I am pleased to announce to you all that more empowerment programs will be introduced through our foundation to improve the lives of our people. We can be sure that this is just the beginning as there is more to come that will put a smile on our faces.

“I have taken steps to ensure that those who have talents are discovered through my connections at home and abroad. My foundation remains committed to improving the lives of our people, alleviating their suffering and ensuring that things get better amid the current economic hardship.”

He, however, urged beneficiaries to remain focused on their studies, adding that education remains the foundation for national development.

According to him, the foundation will help students in their educational journey, stressing that achieving the approved cut-off mark of their choice of institution should be the top priority.

He stressed that those seeking admission in Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger and many more should be assured of getting admission, stressing that they must remain committed in pursuing the course of their dreams.

Am. Abinu reiterated that his philanthropic gesture is not tied to ethnic or religious lines, adding that his doors are wide open for consultations on how to make things better for the society.
