Ferrari Challenge already operates as a regional category in Europe and North America, and as national series in the United Kingdom and Japan. The inaugural Australasian calendar will be announced in the coming months. “We are delighted to announce this championship, a project our team has been working on for a long time,” said Antonello Coletta, Global Head of Ferrari Endurance and Corse Clienti. “The introduction of the Australasia series is part of a clear strategy that started with the UK national series and continued with the Japanese series, which has been a great success.” Head of Ferrari Challenge and Corso Pilota, Andrea Mladosic, added: “The growth of the Ferrari Challenge in recent years has been remarkable, and with the introduction of the new 296 Challenge, the number of participants has exceeded our most optimistic expectations. Interest from markets in the region and numerous requests from our motorsport customers have prompted us to explore the possibility of expanding the championship.” Ferrari has recently seen a renewed presence in GT World Challenge Australia this year, with Arise Racing fielding two Ferrari 296s.

Ferrari Challenge already runs as a regional category in Europe and North America, and as a national series in the United Kingdom and Japan.

The famous Italian brand has enjoyed a renewed presence in GT World Challenge Australia this year, with Arise Racing piloting a pair of Ferrari 296s for Chaz Mostert/Liam Talbot and Jaxon Evans/Elliott Schutte.
