Sheboygan to Welcome Potential LongHorn SteakhouseSheboygan to Welcome Potential LongHorn Steakhouse The City of Sheboygan has approved the development of a LongHorn Steakhouse on its west side. The steakhouse is set to be built north of the Olive Garden that opened earlier this year. The city is collaborating with S/Point Ventures on the project, following a successful partnership on the Olive Garden development. However, the potential for a LongHorn Steakhouse is contingent on approval from the Darden Restaurants Group. The city aims to expand its restaurant offerings in the area to complement future developments, including the North Town project. Currently, the nearest LongHorn Steakhouse locations are in Green Bay and the Milwaukee area. Board Chairman Dan Hein expressed excitement about the potential addition. He said, “We are excited to welcome them when they make that decision.” The news comes as the city continues to grapple with the recent Johnsonville recall due to an undisclosed contaminant.
The city would like to open more restaurants in the area to complement future developments, such as the North Town development.
