A driver was charged yesterday with careless driving – speeding, failing to obey a stop sign and crashing in a construction zone in Seagrave, Scugog County.
Proceed with caution and obey all warning signs/people/devices directing traffic through a construction zone. This is advised by the DRPS North Division.

The Eastern Division of the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) reported yesterday that a motorist was speeding near their headquarters on Regional Highway 2 and Maple Grove Road, in Courtice in the Township of Clarington.
If you drive past the police station (image below) at 70 km/h at a speed of 111 km/h, your car will be impounded for 14 days with a 30 day suspension, a $2,000 fine and 6 demerit points , the police said.
