During his time at Chelsea, Ziyech made 107 appearances and scored 14 goals. He contributed to the club’s triumphs in the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and Club World Cup. Despite his undoubted talent, Ziyech has lacked consistency and has fallen out of favor with Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel. His move to Galatasaray represents an opportunity for the winger to revive his career. Ziyech’s transfer has faced some setbacks in the past. In January 2023, he was set to join Paris Saint-Germain on loan, but a paperwork error from Chelsea scuppered the deal.
