TOBA TEK SINGH: In a disturbing incident, a Vehari-bound passenger bus caught fire near Toba Tek Singh, ARY News reported on Sunday.

According to the information, a passenger bus heading to Vehari from Islamabad caught fire at Toba Tek Singh. The fire was quickly extinguished by the highway police.

46 passengers were safely evacuated from the fire-affected passenger bus.

Earlier this year, a passenger bus fell into the gorge near Lasbela.

The ill-fated passenger bus was travelling from Quetta to Karachi when it lost control due to excessive speed, fell into a ravine and caught fire.

Assistant Commissioner Lasbela confirmed that 40 bodies have been recovered from the gorge.

The bodies have been shifted to Lasbela Civil Hospital while two injured have been shifted to Karachi.
