Telangana’s Job Crisis: KTR Slams Congress GovernmentTelangana’s Job Crisis: KTR Slams Congress Government Amidst growing frustration among job seekers, Telangana’s BRS working president, K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR), has taken aim at the state’s Congress government for its failure to fulfill its promise of creating two lakh government jobs. In a strongly worded social media post addressed to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, KTR highlighted the government’s empty promises. “Dear Rahul Gandhi Ji, you personally promised the youth of Telangana that 2 lakh government jobs would be provided within the first year of Congress coming to power,” he wrote. To support his claims, KTR shared an excerpt from a full-page advertisement published by Congress during the elections that outlined a “jobs calendar” with specific dates for the recruitment process. However, despite the passage of seven months, no new job notifications have been issued, and ten promised dates have passed. KTR questioned the government’s intentions, asking, “How is your government going to carry out the two lakh recruitment process without issuing any notification doing?” He also expressed concern that no one responsible in the government seemed to be addressing the issue. KTR’s criticism comes amid reports of widespread unemployment and frustration among job seekers in Telangana. Many point to the lack of transparency and delays in the recruitment process as major roadblocks. The ongoing job crisis has put the Congress government under intense pressure, with the opposition BRS party and the public demanding accountability. KTR’s statement adds further fuel to the debate and raises questions about the government’s ability to fulfill its promises to the people of Telangana.
KTR noted that no vacancies have been reported for more than seven months and 10 promised dates in the vacancy calendar have passed.
