Temperatures were “slightly cooler,” but still warm in the 80s and 90s. We have a slight chance of a few isolated thunderstorms and showers in the northeastern Texas Panhandle this afternoon. We do not expect extreme weather. As we move into the evening, we’re tracking warm temperatures and mostly clear conditions overnight.

Monday morning temperatures will remain in the upper 60s and 70s. Winds will be strong throughout the day, ranging from 15 to 25 km/h. We are tracking an upper level high pressure system moving across the viewing area, bringing dry conditions and warmer temperatures. Monday afternoon temperatures will warm into the 90s and triple digits. There is a chance for isolated thunderstorms in the extreme northwestern portions of the area, but the majority of the area will remain hot and dry. No severe weather is expected.
