Kia India has revamped the variants of its best-selling SUV duo, the Seltos and the Sonet. Both the models benefit from a new variant and a new colour option. The Sonet SUV now gets a new GTX trim that sits between the HTX+ and GTX+, with an starting price of Rs. 13.71 lakh.
The Sonet GTX comes with a host of features such as a 360-degree surround-view camera with blind spot monitor, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, power-adjustable driver’s seat, an air purifier, automatic headlamps, front and rear parking sensors, LED fog lamps and six airbags.
As for the color options, the Sonet GTX comes in seven paint schemes including Sparkling Silver, Pewter Olive, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Intense Red, Imperial Blue and Glacier White Pearl. Notably, the X-Line variant, which was previously only available in Matte Graphite color, is now also available in Aurora Black Pearl paint.
Mechanically, the Sonet GTX comes with two powertrain options – a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former is mated to a seven-speed DCT gearbox while the latter is mated to a six-speed torque converter automatic.
