Tubewell Installed Near Home of Epilepsy Patient in Gumla District
Ranchi:
In a considerate move, the Gumla District Administration has installed a tubewell near the residence of an epilepsy patient, ensuring access to clean water for the family. The patient, identified as 50-year-old Rakesh Kumar, from the Barudih village of Gumla, has been suffering from epilepsy for the past several years. His family members often had to travel long distances to fetch water, which was both time-consuming and laborious. Recognizing the difficulty faced by the family, the district administration took swift action and installed a tubewell within close proximity to their home. This eliminates the need for the family to venture far for water, saving them significant time and effort. Dr. Rajendra Kumar Mehta, Civil Surgeon of Gumla, highlighted the importance of clean water for epilepsy patients. “Access to clean water is crucial for epilepsy patients, especially during medication,” he said. “This tubewell will not only provide easy access to water but also improve the patient’s overall well-being.” Rakesh Kumar and his family expressed their gratitude to the district administration for their thoughtful gesture. “This tubewell is a lifesaver for us. It has made our lives so much easier, and we are truly grateful for this support,” said his wife, Sujata Devi. The installation of the tubewell is a testament to the commitment of the Gumla District Administration to providing essential services to vulnerable populations. It is expected to have a positive impact on the health and well-being of Rakesh Kumar and his family for years to come.Gumla Woman Suffers Severe Burns in Fire Accident
