GAA chairman Jarlath Burns was in attendance at Downings GAA club this week, along with Donegal chairman Mary Coughlan and Ulster GAA chairman Ciaran McLaughlin, when the Armagh native bought his ticket in the club’s draw. The money went towards the club’s floodlights for its junior teams.
In October, the club will drop five footballs from a helicopter. The winner could be €25,000 richer.
The idea of the Helicopter Drop is that everyone who buys a ticket gets a space on our club field. If the ball lands on your space, that person is the winner.
There are a total of 10 prizes to be won with a total value of €35,000.
