A Michigan man who became famous for driving without a license for nearly three decades has finally obtained his learner’s permit. This time, however, the officer who pulled him over took pity on him and helped him get started on the process of obtaining his learner’s permit. Harris recently passed the written test and the road test, and he is now the proud holder of a learner’s permit. He is still not allowed to drive alone, but he is grateful for the opportunity to finally get his license. “I’m so happy,” Harris said. “I’ve been driving for 30 years, and now I can finally do it legally.” Harris said he plans to take his driving test as soon as possible so that he can get his full license. “I’m not going to let anything stop me now,” he said.
