(KRON) — San Francisco Fire Department officials responded Saturday morning to a person on a pleasure boat who was experiencing a medical emergency.

At around 11 a.m., a San Francisco Police Department Marine Rescue boat requested an SFFD rescue boat to respond to the person experiencing the medical emergency, who was on a 15-foot pleasure boat near the Golden Gate Bridge, the SFFD said.
Officials did not provide specific information about the medical emergency itself. SFFD and SFPD Navy crews said they were able to provide care to the person on the pleasure boat.
