The service offers return transportation from various depots to Alappuzha, along with exclusive boat race tickets. Passengers can purchase tickets directly from the starting depot to Alappuzha and back. Ticket counters will be operational at all KSRTC depots in the district, with the main counter located at the Alappuzha depot. Bookings commence on July 10. The cost of boat race tickets ranges from Rs. 100 to Rs. 3,000, in addition to the transportation fare. For bookings and inquiries, contact 9846475874. Government Offices to Sell Boat Race Tickets Government offices in ten districts will also sell tickets for the Nehru Trophy Boat Race. These districts include Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Kollam, Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, Malappuram, Palakkad, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, and Kozhikode. Pallathuruthy Boat Club Defends Trophy Last year’s race was won by Pallathuruthy Boat Club (PBC), marking their fourth consecutive victory. PBC completed the race in 4 minutes and 18 seconds. Over 70 boats participated in the historic race for the trophy named after India’s first Prime Minister. United Boat Club (UBC) Kainakari, Kumarakom Boat Club, and Kerala Police Boat Club were the other finalists.

Alappuzha/Thiruvananthapuram: KSRTC’s Budget Tourism Cell has launched a chartered service in a bid to boost spectators for the upcoming Nehru Trophy Boat Race on August 10 at Punnamada Lake. The service includes return transportation from various depots to Alappuzha, besides exclusive boat tickets.

Passengers can purchase their tickets directly from the starting depot to Alappuzha and back. Ticket counters will be operational at all KSRTC depots in the districts, with the main counter at Alappuzha depot. Bookings will begin from July 10. Tickets for the boat race cost between Rs. 100 and Rs. 3,000, in addition to the fare. For bookings and queries, contact 9846475874

Government offices will also sell tickets for the boat race

For those planning to watch the Nehru Trophy Boat Race, tickets are available through government offices in ten districts. These include Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Kollam, Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, Malappuram, Palakkad, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur and Kozhikode.
