Florida man caught in dead neighbor’s home after burglary

According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of a public disturbance in a Eustis neighborhood on Monday evening. Upon arrival, officers found Baker at a neighbor’s house, claiming he had permission to be there. However, further investigation revealed this was not true, as the neighbor was deceased. Baker was arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail on a $10,000 bond. His trial is scheduled for August 5, 2024.
