A Pembroke Pines man has been arrested after alleging he sexually assaulted a boy who had been drinking alcohol during a party at the man’s home, police said.
Saul Alfonso Silva Valecillos, 39, was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault of a minor, online solicitation of unlawful sexual acts with a child, possession of child pornography and traveling to meet a minor, Pembroke Pines police said Thursday.

The alleged sexual assault occurred during a party the minor attended at Valecillo’s home on June 30, police said.
The boy had been drinking alcohol and went to a bedroom to sleep off his intoxication, but Valecillos entered the room and performed sexual acts on the boy without his consent, police said.
When the boy realized what was happening, he pushed himself out of the room and left the house.
The boy reported the incident to his parents, who called the police.
While detectives were investigating, Valecillos contacted the boy and asked for sexually explicit photos of him. He then agreed to a sexual encounter with the boy, police said.
When Valecillos showed up at a shopping center Monday where he thought he was meeting the boy, he was arrested by police, officials said.
Valecillos was jailed. He later appeared in court, where he was ordered to be held without bail.
In a statement Thursday, Pembroke Pines police said they are “committed to protecting all members of our community, especially children.”
“Detectives have found no evidence to suggest that Silva Valecillos had any other inappropriate contact with children,” the statement said. “However, if a parent or guardian believes their child has encountered Valecillos, they are urged to contact Detective Ralph Rienzo of the Special Victims Unit at [email protected] or directly in the office at 954-743-1616.”
