We are looking for an experienced, qualified bike mechanic to help us develop our social enterprise. It is a varied role based in our community shop, carrying out repairs to a high standard and refurbishing second hand bikes for sale, as well as teaching our young people bike mechanics.
The ideal candidate will have great mechanical skills with a solid working knowledge of the bike industry. The role will involve developing our various revenue streams, promoting second hand bike sales, repairs, training courses and merchandise to ensure we are not reliant on subsidies.
We are looking for a reliable professional who will act as a role model and inspiration for young people and volunteers. This is a great opportunity to join the Technical Support team at ZyroFisher in the role of Warranty Technician. The role is based in Darlington and reports to the Technical Support Supervisor. The role is responsible for aftersales warranty and technical support for all brands in the ZyroFisher portfolio, excluding SRAM. The role is computer and customer service based.
The role consists of two main components working on a departmental rotation: Using our Customer Service Software (Zendesk) you will provide market leading technical customer service to retailers, end consumers and internally. Accurately capture returns data using Microsoft Excel and manufacturer claim portals. The Technical Support team is the home of the MAHLE UK Service Centre which liaises with customers, identifies faults in a timely manner and provides solutions to the system.
