A dry start for many with sunny spells. Scattered showers will develop during the morning and afternoon.

Later it will become cloudier in the south and west, with rain and drizzle moving southwest in the evening. Also some coastal fog or mist.

Maximum 16 to 20 degrees with a light to moderate southerly or variable wind.

Outbursts of rain and drizzle will reach Munster early tonight, spreading to parts of Connacht and Leinster overnight. It will remain drier over Ulster with some clear spells and only isolated showers.

Lows between 10 and 13 degrees with a light easterly wind.
