Her grandparents, the late Betty and S. G. Catlett, and the late Sallye and Dr. N. Lee Cate, instilled in her a deep appreciation for family and community. Chart, the devoted groom, traces his roots to Dallas, Texas, where his parents, Jimmy and Carl Westcott, have nurtured his aspirations. The ceremony venue transformed into a garden party paradise adorned with exquisite arrangements of pink hydrangeas and delicate pink and white roses. The soothing melodies of violinist Jason Sulkin and the romantic strumming of Tony Ybarra on Spanish guitar serenaded the couple and their guests. CC’s captivating bridal gown, a masterpiece by Mark Ingram, was a testament to her refined taste. The trumpet-style silhouette gracefully flared into a chapel-length train, while the sleeveless bodice featured an elegant custom bow that accentuated her waist. Following the touching ceremony, the newlyweds celebrated their union at a lavish reception hosted at Rosewood Miramar Beach. Laughter, love, and well wishes filled the air as the couple danced the night away. CC’s academic pursuits took her to the University of Arkansas, and she later pursued a career as a flight attendant, where she touched the lives of countless passengers with her warmth and dedication. Chart, a brilliant alumnus of Vanderbilt University, holds a law degree from Southern Methodist University Law School. He has achieved great success as a hedge fund founder and venture capitalist, demonstrating his keen business acumen. Together, CC and Chart will embark on a new chapter in their lives, dividing their time between Santa Barbara, California, Dallas, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Their honeymoon in Asia promises to be an unforgettable adventure that will deepen their bond and create memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Catlett Elizabeth Cate, better known as CC, and Chart Hampton Westcott were married on Monday, July 8 at 5:00 p.m. at Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, California. Daren Martin officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Rebecca Catlett Cate and the late Mark Reeves Cate, both of Little Rock. Her grandparents are the late Betty and S. G. Catlett of Little Rock and the late Sallye and Dr. N. Lee Cate of Fayetteville.

The groom’s parents are Jimmy and Carl Westcott of Dallas.

The ceremony venue was decorated with garden party-style arrangements of pink hydrangeas and pink and white roses. Music was provided by violinist Jason Sulkin and Tony Ybarra on Spanish guitar.

The bride wore a custom white trumpet gown by Mark Ingram that she helped design. The skirt flared into a chapel-length train and the sleeveless, fitted bodice had a small, custom-made bow at the front of the waist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held, also at Rosewood Miramar Beach.

The bride attended the University of Arkansas and worked as a flight attendant until her marriage.

The groom is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and has a law degree from Southern Methodist University Law School. He is a hedge fund founder and venture capitalist.

After a honeymoon in Asia, the couple will divide their time between Santa Barbara, California, Dallas and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
