Gupta said quality healthcare facilities in Gurugram are a major contributor to Haryana’s economic growth and the new hospital will bring significant progress and new employment opportunities.

“It is a priority for the Haryana government to provide top-notch healthcare facilities in Gurugram. Strengthening healthcare infrastructure, training healthcare workers and enhancing community participation in health management remain at the core of our efforts,” he said. “Any challenges identified during the construction process should be addressed immediately to avoid delays,” he added.

During the inspection, Gupta conducted extensive interviews with officials about key areas of the hospital, including the emergency department, outpatient clinics, patient wards and specialist units. He also reviewed the building plan, parking facilities and residential blocks.

Officials said the hospital would be a 10-storey building with an underground parking garage, a separate block for tuberculosis, a service block and a residential block.
