Tragic Accident Claims Life on A92 in FifeTragic Accident Claims Life on A92 in Fife Emergency services rushed to the A92 in Cowdenbeath, Fife, on Tuesday morning following a fatal collision involving a lorry. Despite the efforts of a trauma helicopter, a 53-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The A92 will be partially closed eastbound between Crossgates and Cowdenbeath from 7.30pm while the lorry is recovered. The Cowdenbeath junction will be closed, and traffic will not be able to leave the A92 from there. The road closure is expected to last several hours, and motorists are advised to avoid the area due to potential delays. Sergeant Mike Thomson of Fife Road Policing expressed sympathy to the victim’s family and friends. He stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

The A92 will be partially closed eastbound between Crossgates and Cowdenbeath from 7.30pm while the lorry involved in the fatal road crash is recovered.

The Cowdenbeath junction will be closed and traffic will not be able to leave the A92 from there.

The road closure will last for several hours and people are advised to avoid the area due to delays.
