The Minnesota State Rapid Response Team received a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) letter today, July 16, from the manufacturer of infusion therapy, oncology and critical care technologies. The letter outlined plans to lay off all employees at its service and distribution facility in Oakdale, Minnesota.

This is the second closing of an Oakdale facility in the past 12 months for ICU Medical. Last August, the company confirmed the closure of its facility at 3400 Granada Ave. N., in Oakdale. That affected 81 employees. This latest closing is at 3350 Granada Ave., N., Suite 100, in Oakdale. Overall, the company.

ICU Medical also decided to close a manufacturing facility in April 2024 that was part of its Smiths Medical unit, as part of a consolidation effort following its acquisition of Smiths in 2022.
