People can enjoy free rides on Voi e-scooters and e-bikes in Liverpool – if they take a safe scooter skills training course at a free event next week.
Voi is hosting an event in Toxteth to help people in Liverpool learn how to ride e-scooters and e-bikes. It will cover the basics, from how to sign up to the rules of the road.
The event will take place on Wednesday 24th July on Princes Boulevard in Liverpool, from 10am to 4pm.
The step skills training, provided by the National Cycling Academy, takes approximately 30 minutes.
Participants will receive a day pass worth £7.99, allowing them to ride the entire session for free, plus an additional 15 minutes of free riding time to practice safety. They will also receive a free helmet worth £35.

The next live webinars are on Tuesday, July 23. They will run monthly until December 12, 2024 and can be booked hereAnyone who completes one of these assignments will receive 30 minutes of free ride credit.
To ride a Voi e-scooter, download the Voi app, upload a copy of your full or provisional driver’s license, take a selfie, and complete the online safety driving school. Use the app to find the nearest vehicle, scan a QR code to unlock, and ride. Voi advises riders to wear a helmet. All riders must be 18 or older.
