Since July 2016, Garth Brooks has hosted a weekly Monday series called “Inside Studio G,” where he talks to fans and shares exclusive insights into his musical journey. After eight successful years, the country icon has announced that the popular series will end later this year.
He explained that the show will likely wrap up in the winter, but did not give a specific reason for his decision.
“I believe we will be ending Inside Studio G this year, probably sometime around Christmas,” Brooks revealed in his statement on Monday, July 15.
“Inside Studio G” began on the Oklahoma native’s official Facebook page and SiriusXM and now airs on his website and The Garth Channel on TuneIn. Over the past eight years, fans have come to love the show because it’s given them a chance to connect with their favorite country stars on a more intimate level. He’s used the platform to host songwriting sessions, share the stories behind some of his biggest hits, reflect on iconic moments and more. Brooks’ wife, Trisha Yearwood, has even joined the show on occasion.
