The final major of the golf championship year begins on Thursday with action across the pond at the 2024 British Open. The 152nd Open Championship will take place at Royal Troon Golf Club in Troon, Scotland, for the first time since 2016.
Last year’s winner was American Brian Harman, who will be attempting to become the first player to win two consecutive Open Championship titles since Padraig Harrington did so in 2007-08.
Joining Harman this year in one last attempt to win a major tournament are Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau, PGA Championship winner Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Brooks Koepka, Ludvig Åberg and Jon Rahm.
