Charlton’s Fraser Targeted by Dundee for Loan MoveCharlton’s Fraser Targeted by Dundee for Loan Move According to the Daily Record’s live transfer blog, Scottish Premiership side Dundee are interested in loaning midfielder Scott Fraser from Charlton Athletic. Fraser’s future with Charlton is uncertain, with his contract expiring in June 2025. The club is expected to make a decision on his future this summer. Last season, Fraser joined Hearts on loan for the second half of the campaign, where he made 12 appearances. Now, Dundee is reportedly keen on bringing him back to Scotland temporarily. Dundee has already made five signings ahead of the upcoming season. Fraser’s arrival would provide depth and competition in their midfield. For Charlton, a move to Dundee would free up space and funds in their squad. Fraser has struggled to secure regular first-team minutes since joining the League One club in 2022. Fraser, who began his career with Dundee United, has played 10 goals in 78 games for Charlton. He has also played for Burton Albion, MK Dons, and Ipswich Town during his career. Whether Charlton will sanction another loan move for Fraser remains to be seen. However, a move to Dundee could provide the midfielder with additional playing time and opportunities.

Fraser, 29, was given the green light to join Hearts on loan in January to gain more playing time. He spent the second half of last season with the Edinburgh club, making 12 appearances in all competitions before returning to his parent club.
In this latest update on his situation from the Daily Record, Dundee are now keen to lure him back to Scotland on a temporary basis ahead of the start of the new campaign, having already signed five players as they prepare for another year in the Scottish Premiership.

A move to Dundee would free up space and money in the squad, making room for newcomers.
The Addicks signed him in 2022, but he has struggled to impress at the London club.
He has played 78 games in all competitions, 22 of them last season, and has scored 10 goals.
Fraser began his career at Dundee United and progressed through the ranks as a youngster before moving to England in 2018, initially playing for Burton Albion.
MK Dons then picked him up after he had spent a couple of years at the Brewers and he was a success during his time at Buckinghamshire, scoring 14 goals.
That form earned him a move to Ipswich Town, but his move to Portman Road ultimately didn’t work out and he was allowed to leave for the Tractor Boys after just six months of his three-year contract.
Time will tell whether Charlton Athletic will now let him go again.
A move to Dundee for the former Dundee United player would give him further opportunities.
