Olympic snowboarding gold medalist Chloe Kim was among the guests in Gucci at the Italian fashion house’s summer party at the celebrity-favorite Chateau Marmot hotel in Los Angeles on Thursday. She embraced the current take on the ’90s/’00s athleisure trend, pairing sky-high white Gucci platform sandals with a boxy cropped jersey-inspired top and rolled-up dark denim wide-leg jeans.

Her designer shoes, which peeked out from beneath her jeans, had a three-inch platform sole with a black stripe down the middle.

She wore the sporty red, black and white Gucci top unzipped, embracing the braless trend. Kim finished the look with feminine accents: a delicate silver body chain, a black patent Gucci chain-strap bag and pearl earrings.

The party took place next to the famous hotel’s pool, which was decorated with an abundance of flowers inspired by Gucci Flora’s new Gorgeous Orchid Perfume campaign. Miley Cyrus, the face of Gucci Flora fragrances, hosted the event and fittingly performed her Grammy-winning 2023 hit, “Flowers.”
Kendall Jenner, Salma Hayek Pinault, David LaChapelle, Donovan Leitch, Finneas, Claudia Sulewski, Gia Coppola, Honor Titus, Justine Skye, Kaytranada, Kim Petras, Kitty Ca$h, Yves Tumor and Law Roach were also among the special guests at the exclusive party.
Last month, Kim was invited to Vogue World in Paris, where she paired a silky, floaty blue dress with glittering, strappy stiletto sandals. She wore another pair of silver strappy sandals to the 2024 Gold Gala in May, once again embracing the metallic shoe trend.
