Macy Gray and Tyler Posey’s Feud on ‘The Surreal Life’Macy Gray and Tyler Posey’s Feud on ‘The Surreal Life’ Macy Gray’s approach to MTV’s “Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets” differed from that of her castmates, leading to some tension, particularly with Tyler Posey. Gray, 56, told US Weekly that she clashed with Posey, 32, multiple times before the show premiered. “I didn’t really expect us to express a lot of emotions and talk about our feelings,” she said. “I just wasn’t really in that frame of mind when everyone else was, I guess.” Gray, who was making her first appearance on a reality TV show, found Posey’s openness difficult. “I remember wanting to have fun and just bull-t and everyone got heavy,” she explained. “Tyler’s very open, so he’s always willing to go deep and stuff. Sometimes I just don’t feel like it.” However, not everyone had a strained relationship with Posey. Ally Brooke revealed that they became friends. Gray also praised Kim Zolciak, who she knew from “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” “I like Kim. I’m a housewives fan. I don’t think they really portray her as who she is,” Gray said. Despite their initial differences, Gray said she eventually developed a bond with the cast. “I kind of fell in love with everybody,” she said. “I liked a lot of things about everybody.” “Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets” returns on MTV on July 23 at 9 p.m. ET.

Macy Gray did not approach MTV’s Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets as did some of her cast mates. She admits that it led to some tension, especially with Tyler Posey.
Speak with We weekly Gray, 56, said she and Posey, 32, clashed several times prior to the show’s premiere.
“I didn’t really expect us to express a lot of emotions and talk about our feelings,” she said Us. “I just wasn’t really in that frame of mind when everyone else was, I guess. A lot of times they would let us get emotional and maybe disagree a little bit. Tyler and I talked about it a few times.”
This was Gray’s first appearance on a reality TV series, and the “I Try” singer clashed with Posey, who was more open with the cast members than Gray would have liked.

“I remember wanting to have fun and just bull–t and everyone got heavy,” she explained. “Tyler’s very open, so he’s always willing to go deep and stuff. Sometimes I just don’t feel like it.”
Gray added that the whole experience was an adjustment for her, saying, “It was definitely new to me. I haven’t had roommates in a long time. I knew who everyone was, but I didn’t know anyone personally.”
Not everyone had a tense experience with Posey. Singer Ally Brooke told Us that she and he became friends on the show. “I’ve had such unique relationships and I value every relationship that I have with everyone,” she said. “It’s hard to choose. One of the closest would definitely be Tyler. You’ll see that on the show.”

As for Gray, she was more impressed by Kim Zolciakwho she already knew as a Real Housewives of Atlanta fan. She said the two spent “a little bit of time together.”
“I like Kim. I’m a housewives fan. I don’t think they really portray her as who she is,” she added. “She’s just a real person. She’s a mom and she’s just a really cool person. She’s super cool.”
Even though Gray and Posey didn’t always get along on the show, Gray didn’t hold a grudge about it.
“But I kind of fell in love with everybody,” she said. “I liked a lot of things about everybody.”
