This two-weekend event, now in its 51st year, proudly showcases the talents of over 125 artists and craftspeople from across the nation. Nestled on the League’s picturesque 9-acre campus, just steps from downtown Rehoboth Avenue, the show provides a unique opportunity for visitors to appreciate exceptional artwork in a relaxed and inspiring setting. With a juried selection process, the show guarantees exceptional quality, and many artists showcase their creativity with live demonstrations. Expect to encounter a diverse range of media, including oil and acrylic painting, pastel drawing, fine jewelry, wood and metalworking, photography, ceramics, mixed media, and more. Local and regional artists will be present, offering a glimpse into the vibrant local art scene. Beyond the art exhibits, the show features a host of attractions. Savor delectable food, groove to live music, and witness the talent of artists during live demonstrations. The Peter Marsh Homestead, a historic gem on the campus, will be open for exploration. Dogfish Head Brewing Co. will tantalize with its refreshing brews at the Dogfish Head Beer Garden. The support of the local community is paramount to the show’s success, with over 100 volunteers contributing their time and effort. Visitors are also encouraged to explore the League’s current exhibitions, including the 86th annual Members’ Fine Art Exhibition and solo and Permanent Collection exhibits. Don’t miss the unique opportunity to bid on artwork donated by outdoor show artists in an online auction benefiting preservation projects at the Homestead. RAL will provide complimentary Jolly Trolley shuttles to and from Rehoboth Elementary School parking lots. One lucky visitor will have the chance to win a one-of-a-kind piece of art generously donated by Rick Phillips. The winning ticket will be drawn on August 11th at 4:00 p.m. Admission for the weekend is $5, with free entry for children under 12. Tickets can be purchased at the gate with cash or credit card. The Rehoboth Art League’s signature summer event, the annual Outdoor Fine Art and Fine Craft Show, returns to Henlopen Acres on Saturday and Sunday, August 3 and 4, and August 10 and 11. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Now in its 51st year, the event offers more than 125 artists and craftspeople from across the country the opportunity to exhibit and sell their art and crafts on the Rehoboth Art League’s 9-acre, wooded campus, just a few blocks from the bustling downtown of Rehoboth Avenue in coastal Delaware.

The outdoor show, sponsored by Jack Lingo Realtor, is a juried event that produces exceptional work, and many of the artists enjoy showcasing their creativity during the show. As always, many local and regional artists will be on campus with their artwork and exhibits in a variety of media, including oil and acrylic painting, pastel painting, fine jewelry, wood and metal working, photography, ceramics, mixed media and more.

The show is an unforgettable summer event filled with attractions including delicious food, live music, artist demonstrations, gallery exhibits, beautiful gardens, the historic Peter Marsh Homestead, and a Dogfish Head Beer Garden. The support of the local community ensures that this tradition continues in Rehoboth Beach, as the efforts of over 100 volunteers are essential to the success of this two-weekend event.

Visitors are also welcome to enjoy the art association’s current exhibitions, including the 86th annual Members’ Fine Art Exhibition, the solo exhibition Dreamscapes by WAS Hatch and two unique exhibitions of pieces from the RAL Permanent Fine Art Collection.

As always, Homestead docents will be hosting an online auction of artwork donated by the outdoor show artists as a fundraiser for preservation projects at the competition’s historic buildings. RAL will provide free transportation to the event via Jolly Trolley shuttles to and from the Rehoboth Elementary School parking lots.

Visitors to this year’s Outdoor Fine Art and Fine Craft Show will have the chance to win a one-of-a-kind piece of art, generously donated by Rick Phillips. The winning ticket will be drawn at 4:00 p.m. on August 11th.
