Proceeds from the event will benefit Cancer for College, a non-profit organization providing scholarships, educational experiences, and medical debt relief to cancer patients. The organization was established 30 years ago by Ferrell’s college friend and three-time cancer survivor, Craig Pollard. Ferrell’s Ultimate DJ House Party, featuring Swedish House Mafia D-Nice, A-Trak and more, takes place Saturday, October 26 at 8 p.m. at Wintrust Arena in Chicago.
“It will be a unique and wild house music party featuring some of the biggest DJs in the world, with one-of-a-kind performances and special guests, all hosted by America’s Sweetheart, Will Ferrell,” the event description reads.
Proceeds will go to Cancer for College, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing need-based scholarships, educational experiences and medical debt relief to cancer patients. Cancer for College was founded 30 years ago by Ferrell’s college friend and three-time survivor Craig Pollard, according to Billboard.
