This honor marks the first time Parkview has been recognized by the Inspiring Workplaces Group (IW), an international organization that acknowledges progressive organizations that prioritize their employees. Parkview was ranked among the top 20% of companies on the 2024 list and received special recognition as one of seven organizations that excel in promoting employee wellness. “Parkview’s culture is truly inspiring, and it’s a testament to the dedication of our over 16,000 colleagues,” said Dena Jacquay, Chief Administrative Officer, Parkview Health. To determine the top-performing organizations, Inspiring Workplaces implemented rigorous judging criteria for the 2024 awards. Entrants were required to provide evidence of their investment in employee well-being by completing an entry form that covered six key elements: * Culture and purpose * Leadership * Wellbeing * Inclusion * Employee voice * Employee experience Parkview’s submission highlighted its commitment to creating an exceptional employee experience through comprehensive support, empathetic leadership, a strong sense of belonging, and a dedication to colleague well-being. “Parkview Health’s submission effectively demonstrates the organization’s unwavering commitment to creating an exceptional employee experience characterized by comprehensive support, responsive leadership, a strong sense of belonging, and a genuine dedication to the well-being of colleagues,” stated the Inspiring Workplaces judges. Parkview Health was recently selected as the No. 3 nonprofit and No. 18 nonprofit on the 2024 North American Inspiring Workplaces Top 100 list.
This is the first time Parkview has been recognized by the international Inspiring Workplaces Group (IW). This organization recognizes and helps progressive organizations that put their people first.
Parkview was ranked in the top quintile on the 2024 list of companies and was selected as the third best nonprofit. Parkview was also honored as one of seven organizations recognized for superior efforts to inspire wellness among their workforce.
“Parkview’s culture is inspiring and it’s all thanks to the dedication and hard work of our more than 16,000 colleagues,” said Dena Jacquay, Chief Administrative Officer, Parkview Health. “Parkview invests in our colleagues to inspire their professional growth, support their physical and mental well-being, and recognize their tremendous value in providing outstanding healthcare experiences to those we serve. We continue to seek and listen to feedback directly from our colleagues as we strive to make Parkview a place our teams are proud to be.”
To ensure the highest performing organisations were identified, Inspiring Workplaces upgraded the judging criteria for the 2024 awards. Unlike other awards, which rely on surveys, the Inspiring Workplace Awards asked entrants to provide evidence of their investment in people by completing an entry form, which covers the six key elements that IW believes are fundamental to creating a People First culture, and by extension, an Inspiring Workplace. These categories are culture and purpose, leadership, wellbeing, inclusion, employee voice and employee experience.
“Parkview Health’s submission effectively demonstrates the organization’s unwavering commitment to creating an exceptional employee experience characterized by comprehensive support, responsive leadership, a strong sense of belonging, and a genuine dedication to the well-being of colleagues,” wrote the Inspiring Workplaces judges. “The alignment between the company’s purpose and its people practices, coupled with impressive measurable results, distinguishes Parkview as an inspiring workplace that truly values and invests in its people.”
Parkview was joined on this year’s Top 100 list by national companies including SurveyMonkey, Union Pacific Railroad, PepsiCo Beverages North America and fellow Fort Wayne-based Sweetwater. Parkview is now being considered for the Inspiring Workplaces Global Top 100 list, which identifies the best workplaces in seven international regions.
Inspiring Workplaces is the latest in a series of workplace honors Parkview Health has received in the past year.
