Fitness over Fashion: Seerat Kapoor Prioritizes Health for EfficiencyFitness over Fashion: Seerat Kapoor Prioritizes Health for Efficiency In the realm of fashion, individuals often prioritize a slim figure that aligns with societal expectations. However, this pursuit can lead to alarming health consequences if proper nutrition is compromised. Actress Seerat Kapoor, however, challenges this unhealthy trend by emphasizing the importance of overall fitness. She believes a healthy body and mind are crucial for her professional success. “When I am physically fit, I am better able to focus and efficiently execute my duties,” she states. Rather than striving for a toned appearance, Seerat focuses on maintaining a healthy body that supports her active lifestyle. “I emphasize a healthy and fit body that enables me to live my life fully,” she explains. Her diet is centered around home-cooked meals, which she believes provide the essential nutrients her body needs. “I believe there is no healthier alternative to ‘ghar ka khana,'” she affirms. Inspired by her co-stars’ dedication to their health, Seerat has embraced yoga and meditation as key elements of her fitness routine. “By practicing yoga and meditation, I have discovered a comprehensive approach to maintaining a healthy body and mind,” she enthuses. Seerat serves as a role model for aspiring actors and fashion enthusiasts, demonstrating that prioritizing fitness over fashion can not only enhance one’s health but also support a fulfilling and successful career.
Mumbai: Models who strive for a figure that they think meets the standards of modern fashion often end up skinny. By following a diet that cuts out the necessary minerals and nutrients, they can even become weak to dangerous levels.
However, there are fashionistas who are now giving fitness a special importance. Actress Seerat Kapoor, for example, emphasises that her body functions well only when she is mentally and physically fit. Seerat said, “When I am shooting for 12 hours, it is quite difficult to get a proper workout, so I try to do yoga at least in the morning. It also helps me focus on my work.”
The actress added: “I know that I can only do my job well if I am physically fit and healthy. That is my motivation and goal. To be efficient, I have to be mentally and physically fit.”
However, Seerat focuses more on a fit body than a toned one. “I have faced challenges in maintaining a healthy body and lifestyle during hectic schedules. I don’t believe in a sculpted body for show. I mainly focus on a healthy and fit body that helps me do what I want,” she said.
Her diet consists of nothing grand except ‘ghar ka khana’. “I don’t think there is anything else that can keep you healthier. My mother cooks my breakfast, lunch and even an early morning snack,” the actress noted.
Seerat’s fitness idols are her co-stars. “When you see everyone around you taking care of themselves, you learn a lot,” she said. Talking about fitness tips, Seerat added, “I recently started doing yoga and I have found that there is no better way to keep your entire body healthy. Meditation is also a huge help.”
Seerat is currently seen as Mannat in the show ‘Rabb Se Hai Dua’, which features Yesha Rughani as Ibaadat, Dheeraj Dhoopar as Subhaan and Raymon Kakar. Produced by Prateek Sharma’s Studio LSD, ‘Rabb Se Hai Dua’ airs on Zee TV.
