The portable telescope sets are available through the Brampton Library at all branches throughout the city and can be used by astronomers of all ages.
All you need is a Brampton library card to begin your fantastic adventures.
The refractor telescopes are made by Celestron and allow users to view stars, such as planets, the Moon, star clusters and brighter deep-sky objects such as the Orion Nebula and the Andromeda Galaxy.
Featuring a lightweight, compact backpack, the telescope can be attached to a smartphone and is “perfect for viewing terrestrial and celestial objects on the go,” the library says.
