Equinox Hotels has announced its newest venture, Equinox Resort Treyam, which will be part of NEOM in northwestern Saudi Arabia. The luxury resort will be situated between the mountains and the sea, with a 450-meter-long bridge spanning 40 meters over a lagoon.
The bridge connects guest rooms and suites, a clubhouse, a spa and the signature Equinox Fitness Club.
Equinox Hotels Opens Bridge Resort
The 250-room hotel was designed by American Mark Foster Gage Architects and will feature glass-bottomed rooms and a rooftop infinity pool. NEOM was the first to announce plans for the cantilevered infinity pool earlier this year.
The resort is located on the Gulf of Aqaba, approximately 10 kilometres north of The Line development.

The unique elevated design is intended to offer guests a unique perspective of the surrounding landscape, lagoon and sea. Equinox Resort Treyam is one of twelve destinations within Magna, the newest region of the NEOM project.
Each room has a partial glass floor, allowing guests to observe the underwater ecosystem, and a partial glass ceiling for stargazing. Gage added: “You are literally floating above an entire underwater ecosystem and looking out at the vastness and beauty of the natural world.”
