The 336-meter long and 51-meter wide vessel is the fourth of six 15,000-teu LNG-powered container ships constructed by Jiangnan for CMA CGM. Jiangnan previously delivered the CMA CGM Grace Bay in May and the CMA CGM Cape Cod in April. The remaining two vessels are expected to be delivered by September 2024. As part of a 2021 agreement, Jiangnan and Hudong-Zhonghua will each build six LNG-powered vessels for CMA CGM. While Hudong-Zhonghua’s vessels have a capacity of 13,000 units, Jiangnan’s ships have a larger capacity of 15,000 units. The new LNG-powered container ships feature GTT’s Mark III containment system and WinGD’s dual-fuel propulsion. They are equipped with LNG tanks with a capacity of 14,000 cbm.

The shipbuilder announced the delivery of the 336-metre long and 51-metre wide vessel in a statement on Tuesday.
This is the fourth of six 15,000-teu LNG-powered container ships that Jiangnan built for CMA CGM.
Before this vessel, Jiangnan delivered the CMA CGM Grace Bay in May and the CMA CGM Cape Cod in April.
Jiangnan expects to deliver the remaining two vessels by September 2024 at the latest.
Jiangnan and Hudong-Zhonghua will each build six LNG-powered vessels for CMA CGM as part of a deal unveiled in April 2021. However, the six vessels at Hudong-Zhonghua have a capacity of 13,000 units.
In addition, the new LNG-powered vessels are equipped with GTT’s Mark III containment system and WinGD’s dual-fuel propulsion.
The ship’s LNG tanks have a capacity of 14,000 cbm.
