Traffic was brought to a standstill for approximately half an hour around noon while emergency crews cleared the vehicles involved. Although there have been no reported injuries, heavy congestion persists on the M20. In addition to the traffic on the motorway itself, lines of vehicles are also extending up to Junction 2A of the M26 at Wrotham. The incident is currently being managed by traffic controllers, and authorities anticipate that the congestion will gradually ease.
