This week, Alireza Ramezani, an associate professor of electrical and computer engineering at Northeastern, unveiled an innovative flying robot designed to navigate small, tight spaces, a situation where most drones typically struggle.

Additionally, as part of the Boston Summer Youth Employment Program, Northeastern helps connect 200 teens and young adults with hundreds of local employers.

Later in the week, Northeastern Global News interviewed Solomon Jekel, associate professor of mathematics, about the transformative impact of big data analytics on theoretical mathematics.
