Galway Races Day 1 Full Race Card & Tips – Monday Runners List

The Galway Races start on Monday, with seven days of action in Ballybrit.

Sam Maguire may not be heading west, but Galway’s All-Ireland final defeat to Armagh is unlikely to dampen spirits too much over the coming days.

Willie Mullins has dominated this meeting, like many others, in recent years and he will be looking to get an early winner on the scoreboard from day one.

The main race at 7.10pm is the amateur handicap over two miles and one furlong. As you would expect, this race is extremely competitive.
