Despite a strong start that saw the Drizzlers take an early lead, the Twisters chipped away at the deficit in the second half and eventually took control of the game. Leading the way for Tulsa was guard Marcus Johnson, who poured in a game-high 32 points. Forward Anthony Davis also had a solid night with 25 points and 12 rebounds. For the Drizzlers, forward James Johnson led the scoring with 23 points. Guard Tyree Boyd added 20 points, while center Michael Carter-Williams contributed 15 points and 10 rebounds. The Drizzlers’ struggles at home have been a major concern. They have now lost five of their last six games at CHAIFETZ Arena. “We’re just not playing with the same energy and focus at home,” said Drizzlers head coach Mark Price. “We need to find a way to get that back.” The loss drops the Drizzlers to 19-26 on the season. They are now 6.5 games out of a playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Drizzlers will have a chance to snap their losing streak on Saturday night when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder.
