According to witnesses, the train was traveling at a normal speed when it suddenly jumped the tracks and crashed into a concrete barrier. “I felt a sudden jolt and then everything went dark,” said passenger Samanta Patel. “I could hear screams and cries all around me.” Ambulances and fire trucks rushed to the scene and transported the injured passengers to nearby hospitals.
