The expansion, known as “The Connective,” will feature: * New Exhibit Galleries: New exhibits will showcase the evolution of rock music, featuring interactive displays and artifacts from legendary artists. * Increased Space for Education: The expansion will create dedicated areas for educational programs, workshops, and masterclasses, providing aspiring musicians with opportunities for mentorship and instruction. * Multipurpose Venue: A new multipurpose venue within “The Connective” will host concerts, film screenings, and other special events. * Improved Visitor Experience: The expansion will optimize the overall visitor experience, with enhanced lighting, acoustics, and a dedicated merchandise store. The project is a collaboration between the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and various local organizations, including the city of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County. Construction is expected to begin in 2023 and be completed by 2025. The expansion of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a major investment in Cleveland’s cultural and economic vitality.
