Manasa Nawakula rescued Tavua with a dramatic goal in the 112th minute to secure a 1-0 victory over Nasinu in the Premier Division final of the FMF 2024 Inter-District Championship.
The former Ba and Lautoka defender went into extra time to break the deadlock after both teams failed to find the net in regular time.
Tavua, who fought hard throughout the match, withstood the pressure from Nasinu and took his chance when it mattered most.

Nawakula’s late heroics secured Tavui’s triumph and saw them crowned Premier Division champions in a hard-fought final.
