Millions of people just witnessed the end of a presidency on live television.
Joe Biden’s performance during the debate was embarrassing.
Every time CNN put him on split screen, he looked a thousand yards away.
He didn’t look old.
He looked ancient.
He looked empty.
But at least he didn’t speak.
Because when Biden had to answer, he was incoherent.
He said he “beat Medicaid.”
When asked about abortion, he randomly started talking about migrant crime.
“I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence,” former President Trump noted at one point, “and I don’t think he knows what he said either.”
At one point Biden simply said: frozen.
The government cannot say it is a “cheap fake”; everyone saw it happen.
The sound you heard last night was Democratic operatives yelling at their televisions everywhere.
Biden cannot survive this.
It is a political malpractice to let him run for re-election.
It is national mismanagement to let him continue.
Biden has been preparing for this debate all week, and this is the best he could do.
That should scare everyone.
Suppose, however shockingly, the Democrats do not step in to replace President Biden as their nominee.
Suppose 81-year-old Biden wins, which is quite unlikely.
He won’t get any sharper.
During a second term, our president would deteriorate further and would no longer be able to make good decisions.
That would be a disaster for the United States.
Biden had no political answer to inflation or the border disaster, two of the most important issues for voters.
But unfortunately, that’s almost not the point.
Biden was so mumbled, so hesitant, and so ignorant of the facts that it overshadowed everything else.
When asked about his age, Biden did not defend his acumen, but began to reminisce about the past, we think in the 19th century.
No wonder the White House keeps him hidden and away from the press and public events.
The Democratic elite is deceiving the American people and this was exposed last night.
