While the ending has long been hinted at, Glenn has also noticed that the pieces are only now coming together.

“If you didn’t think World War II was the opportunity for Christ to return, then I don’t know what was wrong with you, except maybe you’d read enough of the Bible to say, ‘There is not enough, you know, to say it is so’. this time,” says Glenn.

“The big difference between now and even World War II is the existence of the state of Israel,” says Lucado. “That’s the prophecy.”

“That miracle, that sign, I think, Glenn, announced that we are in the last days,” he continues. “Israel must be a nation before many of the prophecies can be fulfilled, namely the rebuilding of the temple.”

Lucado believes that while what is happening worldwide is being discussed politically, it needs to be discussed even more spiritually.

“Something is happening here that has never happened in any generation in history. I don’t know when Christ will return. Not me. No one knows,” says Lucado, explaining that the last book in the Bible was not written to scare people.

“He gave that to us so we didn’t panic. He gave it to us so we could watch and know that big changes were coming,” he says. “He did not do these things to scare us, but to prepare us. He told us these things so we wouldn’t panic.”

And there has never been a better time to turn to God in faith and not in fear than now–despite the influence of Satan asking us not to.

“Satan has never spoken a word of truth, and whenever he sees a person like you, or anyone else, trying to deal with life’s concerns by turning to faith or turning to God, he will intervene,” Lucado says. “The last thing he wants us humans to do right now is turn to God in faith.”

Police said Philistin was delivering food to an apartment complex in the 2900 block of Northwest 135th Street when he was shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses told police that they heard gunshots and saw a man running from the scene. Police have not yet released a description of the suspect.
