Acting on intelligence, detectives swiftly located the suspect in Shubiri Road, Ojo. The arrest led to the recovery of the stolen car. Hundeyin stated that the suspect will be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of the ongoing investigation. The Command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this to journalists in Lagos on Saturday.
Mr Hundeyin said the complainant, whose identity has not been revealed, reported the theft of the car, a Lexus ES 350 with registration number EXY 950 FZ, including her laptop, at around 1.30pm on Tuesday.
According to Mr Hundeyin, the unnamed driver allegedly drove away the boss’s car after dropping her off at Tejuosho Market, Yaba.
“After receiving this report, detectives tracked the suspect to Shubiri Road, Ojo, where he was arrested and the car was recovered.
“The suspect will appear before the judge after the investigation is completed,” he said.
