Emergency services responded to the blaze at Freeman Street in Lalor Park shortly after 1:00 AM. The fire reportedly started at around 1:00 AM and quickly spread through the house. Four children, ages nine, eleven, seven, and six, were treated for injuries and taken to Westmead Hospital in stable condition. Sadly, two boys, ages two and four, passed away after being treated at the scene. Firefighters also discovered the body of a 10-month-old girl who had succumbed to the flames. The three children have yet to be formally identified. A 29-year-old woman was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. A 28-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is currently being treated for smoke inhalation under police guard in the hospital. Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fire, and a report will be prepared for the coroner. A man is under police guard in hospital after a fire broke out at a house in Sydney’s west where six children and a woman were present.

At around 1am, emergency services were called to Freeman Street in Lalor Park following reports of a house fire.
On arrival, emergency services treated four children: a nine-year-old girl and three boys aged eleven, seven and six.
They were taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

Sadly, two boys, aged two and four, were treated at the scene by a NSW Ambulance ambulance and taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
A short time later the two boys died.
Fire and Rescue NSW were working to extinguish the flames and found another child, believed to be a 10-month-old girl, dead.
The three children have yet to be formally identified.
