Emergency services were called to Little Bay Beach, Little Bay, at around 11.10am on Sunday for a check on “concerns for welfare”, police said.
Police searched the area and found “a number of objects” on nearby rocks.

“A short time later, a body was found near the rocks,” police said.
At around 1:40 p.m., a second body was found near the rocks.
The two people have not yet been formally identified.
According to the police, no further details are known at this time.
