It’s almost time for blueberry season! Blueberry picking is one of the best summer activities you can do in Washington State. If you haven’t been to one of these farms yet, now is a great time to do so while you pick some delicious local fruit. Check out these blueberry farms near Seattle, all opening this month.

Larsen Lake Blueberry Farms

This is probably one of the closest Blueberry Farms to Seattle, which as you might have guessed also means it will be busy. That said, people have rave reviews for Larsen Lake Blueberry Farms and the location is accessible.

When: Opening July 10, 2024
Where: 700 148th Avenue SE

Blueberry farm with mountain views

This place is big. Mountainview has 9 acres of land and eight different types of berries that you can pick. This year it’s $3.35 a pound.

Olalla U-Pick Blueberry Farm

I love organic. Olalla is a great place for those specifically looking for organic Blueberry farms. For Olalla you have to reserve your time slot in advance. The farm will give updates on when times are released via Facebook.

When: Opening July 10, 2024
Where: 12257 Arab Lane Olalla, WA

Bybee farms

Bybee Farm has been in business since the early 1940s. This year, it is expected to open on July 25th. The farm offers pick-your-own bins and grab-and-go bags/boxes and costs $3.15 per pound. You can pick from six different varieties at the base of the majestic Mount Si.

Blue dot farm

Blue Dot is a small family owned business and requires an appointment for those who want to U-pick. Make sure to bring your containers! It will cost you $32 for a large bucket (about 11-12 lbs) and $16 for a small bucket (about 5.5-6 lbs) – about $2.90 per pound.

When: Opening July 9 – July 11 and July 13 (Saturday). More to follow as the season progresses.

Valentina Farm

Valentina Farm, formerly Bryant Blueberry Farm, is a family owned and operated business offering 15 varieties of blueberries throughout the season! U-pick blueberries are $3.25 per pound.
