Families can choose the language option that best suits their child’s needs. The Imagination Library sends children a free age-appropriate book every month from birth through their fifth birthday. Currently, over 400,000 children in Ohio receive monthly books from the Imagination Library. Caregivers can transfer their child’s account to the new bilingual collection by logging into the Imagination Library parent portal. New families can sign up for the program at ohioimaginationlibrary.org and select their preferred language option. This expansion of services provides more options for Ohio families to promote early literacy and language development in young children. By offering both English and Spanish books, the Imagination Library is making it easier for families to raise bilingual children and foster a lifelong love of reading.

Families can now choose from two collections of Imagination Library books: a primarily English-language book collection with several English/Spanish bilingual books, or a complete English/Spanish bilingual book collection.

Currently, there are 406,806 children registered and receiving a monthly book delivery from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio in our state.
Caregivers who would like to transfer their child’s checking account to the new bilingual English/Spanish book collection can log into the Imagination Library parent portal at: imaginationlibrary.com/bos.
Caregivers who would like to initiate their child’s monthly book delivery can visit ohioimaginationlibrary.org to sign up. When signing up, caregivers can select the language of the book they want.
