SHOE (IGFA) – The garbage house, which was discovered following complaints from residents of Yüzüncü district and at the initiative of village head Ayşenur Sayan, was cleaned by groups from Nilüfer Municipality, in accordance with the decision of the Bursa Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Teams from the Nilüfer Municipality Cleaning Department, who entered the house, accompanied by police officers, were very surprised by the sight inside. The teams found that the house was full of items that could be considered waste.
Neighbors said the woman, who lived alone in the home, also threatened the health of the environment with the trash she collected. Tons of trash including paper, plastic, discarded appliances, food scraps and unusable kitchenware were collected from the home, which consisted of three rooms, a living room, a bathroom and a kitchen. Two truckloads of trash removed from the home by crews were taken to the Hamitler Dumpling Area.
The house, covered in cobwebs and dirt, was disinfected and sanitized by the teams of the Cleaning Directorate of the Municipality of Nilüfer. The cleaned house was later handed over to the owner.
